This Day in Potentially Damning Yet Utterly Ignored Obama News

Comments

Has anyone around here looked into this? Is it a serious issue, and why does Obama seem to be so squirmy about it?
This should clear the matter up for you.
I really do love the title of this post...
Our Constitution is pretty clear that you must be a natural born citizen to be President. If Obama is in fact not eligible for the Presidency, expect a whole lot of talk about how the Constitution is a living document and it evolves over time...apparently enough to mean the opposite of what it says. Well, now's definitely not the time to be polite. The best opportunity to bring up this question happened to be 2 years ago. But there's no time like the present.
There is no reasonable doubt about Obama's citizenship. He was born in Hawaii, which would qualify him. He was born to a US citizen after 1937, which would also qualify him. So Obama is a "natural born" citizen, twice over.

But what about McCain? He was born to American parents in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936 - one year before the 1937 law that made "natural born citizens" of children who could prove at least on American parent. At least one legal scholar has opined that this makes him ineligible for the post of PotUS (others disagree, of course - these are lawyers we're talking about).

I'm shocked! shocked! that gambling is going oh here! ;)

Ah well, that's what I thought. But how about those bad donations?

I had heard about John McCain too, and figured that this issue would go nowhere...but a man can dream, can't he?

I'm more concerned about the credit card donors on the Obama site. How many millions did the campaign give back? How many didn't they give back?

It's funny, because I'm not surprised at revelations about Obama's thuggish political tactics. With ACORN, the attacks on Palin, the legal teams in Missouri and now it seems millions in unsubstantiated donations...possibly from overseas...I've come to view such things as typical Obama politics.

Crooked and Glossed Over should be his new campaign motto.

Careful - you are starting to sound like a Democrat during Bush43's two presidential runs...

I know, I know. But I pledge that should this man be elected, the words ""not my president" shall never pass from my lips. My president, right or very very wrong.

But I pledge that should this man be elected, the words ""not my president" shall never pass from my lips. My president, right or very very wrong.

God bless you for that. Those who declaim that the duly elected President is not "their president" should be shown the door, no matter which party they belong to.
