Mark Steyn on William F. Buckley

Comments

Mr. Buckley's life and works were one of my greatest inspirations. He was truly great as he used his many talents and his intellect for the betterment of Western Culture. He had a great sense of humor and mentored many who wouldn't have had careers otherwise. He was a great entrepreneur who gave conservative, libertarian and anti-communists a vehicle to reach the public when the established publishing houses were closed to their way of thinking. My condolences go out to his son Christopher and all who were touched by his life.

"Buckley made conservatism appealing, effective and enduring. He did it with style and humility. He was a man of Faith, Reason, and the World all at once. And he was brilliant".
